Farmland Foods, Inc., a pork processing facility in Crete, NE, is looking for someone to fill the position of Grade & Yield Clerk. Hourly wage is $10.50-$12.50. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Prefer Ag trade/vocational school degree.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Livestock or farm background. One year experience with computer keyboard and 10-key calculator. FFA/4-H carcass evaluation or livestock judging team experience a positive factor.
SPECIFIC DUTIES: Operate Fat-O-Meter and enter ID numbers on kill floor. Carcass data collection. Checking, sorting and distribution of producers grade/yield reports. Maintenance of Fat-O-Meter on daily basis. Assist bookkeeping department in the payment of hogs & trucking.
Learn and understand Company hog procurement policies/procedures.
