SMS Lucknow Orientation Programme 2014
SMS Lucknow Orientation Programme 2014:“Your personality is made up of your thoughts. Whatever you think, you will be. If you think yourself weak, weak you will be. If you think yourself strong, strong you will be.” This was said by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor U.P. Technical University Sri R.K. Khandal chief guest during one day orientation programme of new students at School of Management Sciences, Lucknow, on 26th August 2014.
He further said “Arise, Awake and don’t stop until your goal is achieved. Winners don’t do different things but they do things differently. Quoting Swami Vivekanand in his thought provoking Speech Sri Khandal motivated the students to grab the new opportunists in the corporate sector and make best use of them.
The Chief Guest emphasized the students upon the imbibing of Indian culture and its values in our day to day life. He also stated that the male students must give respect to the female students. He focused that we must have some flexibility in our attitude and should also inculcate the seeds of simplicity and righteousness.
Guest of Honour Sri Akhilesh Jain, Plant Head Reliance Industries Limited, Lucknow Shared the experiences of his life and advised the new students to become independent in all walks of life. He also focused of the needs, requirements and challenges of corporate sectors and emphasized the importance of current affairs along with the subjective knowledge.
Orientation programme was graced by the presence of “Pride of Industry” Award winner Sri Sharad Singh, Secretary & CEO SMS, Lucknow. Sri Singh welcomed the new students and said “Today, youth power is the power of nation and with the right use of the same we can leave behind other countries.” He emphasized on acquiring and improving knowledge base with hard work
